That’s why we participate in private barrel selection programs from, you guessed it, some of the best spirit producers in the country. Here are some amazing single barrels we’ve been able to collaborate on so far:

  • Molly’s Magdalena – Sold Out

    Barrel aged version of a Diebolt Brewing taproom favorite; This beauty spent five months in bourbon soaked oak. While a heavy hand with simcoe hops and the addition of grapefruit peel in the barrel brings out robust tropical fruit notes, a higher finishing gravity lends a caramelly biscuit malt sweetness before a dry bitterness takes over.     Aged in our private George Dickel Barrel, Odd13 Brewing and Molly’s teamed up to bring you a Biere De Garde unlike any other. It’s only available in-store at Molly’s, and Odd 13’s tap room so come get a taste while you can!

    We’ve teamed up with our friends at Big Choice Brewing to bring a new rotating sour beer series! We’re combining forces to release an exciting new brew creation every month or so for those who just can’t get enough delicious local sours. Members of our Molly’s team will help collaborate on the recipe for each batch and their names will be featured on the cans.

    Volume One of our series is a Sour Brown Ale with vanilla, oranges, and cranberries. It is complex, balanced tartness, and quite approachable. Subtle chocolate malt notes complimented with a light vanilla finish which blends seamlessly with a balanced sour profile that is accented by tart cranberry notes. Pairs excellent with chocolate cake, fruit tarts, gorgonzola, beef tenderloin, or a hike on the trail. You’ll only find these 6 packs at Molly’s – grab yours for $9.49

  • Molly’s Prickly Pear Cider Volume 1 Produced by Snow Capped Cider – Sold Out

    This authentic top shelf cider was made exclusively for Molly’s from bitter sharp and bitter sweet Cider apples grown in Colorado by Snow Capped Cider! It was aged 12 months and infused with prickly pear cactus then aged 6 months in a tequila barrel.

  • Good Golly Miss Molly Collaboration with Mockery Brewing Co. – Sold Out

    How do you turn a boring Brown Ale into something legendary? You add sweet cherries, cocoa nibs and toss it into a Knob Creek Bourbon Barrel. This beer delivers a woody character at the front that slowly gives way to a fruity, soft tartness finish. Just imagine tasting a bourbon soaked cherry that is dipped in delicious dark chocolate with a kiss of tartness. That’s what ‘Good Golly Miss Molly’ tastes like!

    This bourbon barrel-aged beer was created in collaboration with Bonfire Brewing for our 2nd Annual Rare Whiskey Auction benefiting Family Tree! Born at Bonfire Brewing and matured in one of our special reserve barrels, it is well-rounded with a smooth whiskey character, caramel and toffee notes, and a subtle, cherry-like fruit finish.

  • Tequila Barrel Aged Bière De Mars by Liquid Mechanics Brewing Co.

    Aged in an El Mayor Tequila barrel, this bière de mars has a malty backbone with smooth layers of complexity. You’ll get hints of vanilla and agave from the barrel.

  • Nightmare on Brett by Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project

    This single barrel dark sour ale was aged in Laws Four Grain Whiskey Barrels. A demonic dark sour, Nightmare on Brett takes on many facets during its transformation to the sour side. Dominated by dark fruit aromas and flavors, the underlying cacao notes meld with an acidic tart berry finish.

    Molly’s Tarts & Crafts Volume 3 has arrived!! Volume 3 is sweet and fruity on the nose with a lot of pineapple. The flavor that comes through is light and tart, but not overwhelming. It’s a great mixture of pineapple and mango that blend together to give you a nice, refreshing jolt of tartness.

  • Awaken the Intellect Bourbon Barrel Aged Cream Ale by Fiction Beer Company

    Awaken the Intellect started as an experiment with bourbon barrel aged coffee beans roasted and cold brewed by Copper Door Coffee. The result was a unique and flavorful coffee beer. For the Molly’s collaboration, Fiction took their coffee beer and added it to a special barrel of Buffalo Trace Bourbon. To blend the coffee and bourbon flavors as they intensified, Fiction added cocoa nibs and Madagascar vanilla. The vanilla melds with the bourbon from the barrel and from the coffee in the base beer, bringing forth complex aromas and flavors unable to be attained on their own. The chocolate draws out rich coffee character that pairs perfectly with bourbon. An easy drinking beer with complex layers of flavor and aromas that are rarely found in a beer so light in color or alcohol.
