Molly's Go-To Paloma

Ingredients

  • 2 oz blanco tequila or mezcal
  • 2 oz fresh grapefruit juice, plus wedges for garnish
  • 2 oz club soda
  • 1/2 oz lime juice
  • 1/4 oz agave nectar or simple syrup
  • Coarse sea salt, for the rim of the glass
  • Optional: Bittermens Hellfire Habanero Shrub, to taste

Instructions

  1. Salt the rim of your glass by rubbing a grapefruit wedge around the edge and dipping it onto a small plate of salt.
  2. Mix your spirit of choice with the remaining ingredients. Top your glass with ice.
  3. Adjust sweetness to taste with additional agave nectar or simple syrup.
  4. If you’d like to heat things up, add Bittermens Hellfire Habanero Shrub to taste.
  5. Garnish with grapefruit wedge and enjoy!
