Bitter Candied Apple Whiskey Cocktail

Once again the snowy forecast has us pining for a warm candy apple cocktail! This bitter candied apple whiskey cocktail recipe combines whiskey with apple cider and Licor 43 – a Spanish liqueur made from citrus and fruit juices, flavored with vanilla and other aromatic herbs and spices. All ingredients point to a cocktail designed for a snow day!

Whiskey Apple Cider Cocktail Supplies:

  • Mug
  • Saucepan
  • Stir spoon
  • Jigger

Preparation:

Pour the apple cider and lemon juice into a saucepan, heating until just before the liquid boils. Turn off the heat, add the Jack Daniel’s and Licor 43 and stir. Pour into a mug and add the Angostura bitters just before serving. Garnish this whiskey apple cider cocktail with a lemon wheel.
