Leslie and Steve Kaczeus started the company after leaving their jobs in the high-tech industry to pursue their dream of opening an adventurous craft brewery. Steve is a Mechanical Engineer and Program Manager by training and was also an avid home brewer for many years. He graduated from the American Brewer’s Guild in the summer of 2011. Leslie, on the other hand, has a background in marketing. Together, the pair dedicates their efforts and expertise to producing a wide range of high quality ales and lagers. The Goal The Bootstrap Brewing goal is simple – they want to make really great beer and have a lot of fun. One of the many ways they work toward this goal is pairing classic rock music with each of their beers. This way, they can rock out and enjoy creating their favorite brews! Of course there are innumerable great beers from CO, but knowing where to start in a new market is tough, especially when you’re fairly picky.
