Game Day Sangria: A Fruity Crowd-Pleaser

If you're looking for something fruity and festive, sangria is always a touchdown! This recipe combines wine, fruit, and a touch of spirits to create a refreshing drink that pairs perfectly with game day snacks.

  1. Serves: 6-8
  2. Ingredients:
  3. 1 bottle of red wine (try a Spanish red like Campo Viejo Tempranillo)
  4. 1/4 cup brandy (we recommend E&J Brandy)
  5. 1/4 cup orange liqueur (like Cointreau or Grand Marnier)
  6. 2 cups sparkling water or club soda
  7. 2 oranges, sliced
  8. 1 lemon, sliced
  9. 1 lime, sliced
  10. 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  11. 1-2 tablespoons sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
  12. Instructions:
  13. In a large pitcher, combine the wine, brandy, orange liqueur, and sugar (if using). Stir until sugar dissolves.
  14. Add the sliced fruit and berries, then let the sangria sit in the fridge for at least 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  15. Just before serving, stir in the sparkling water or club soda.
  16. Serve over ice and garnish with additional fruit slices for a colorful touch!

Pro Tip: For a white sangria, swap the red wine for Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc.
