June Cocktail of the Month - Basic B**ch Fruity Ranch Water

Hey, June! Our Cocktail of the Month-Basic Bitch Fruity Ranch Water is here! This is brought to everyone by our Spirits Department Manager at our Lakeside location, Justin. Everyone knows someone who loves the basics-keeping things simple and easy but also able to enjoy what comes from life each day.  This mantra is what we had in mind for this month’s cocktail-easy drinking on the patio and can be interchanged with different fruit purees for your desired flavor.  This cocktail can be sipped or chugged, mostly depending on the weather; basically we’re aiming for a porch-pounding, seasonal cocktail and we feel like this one nails it.

Ingredients

-2oz Lalo Tequila

-1oz Natanja Orange Liqueur

-1 oz Finest Call Passion Fruit Puree

-1oz Lime Juice

-Ice

-Extra Credit: seedless jalapeño slice for a bit of spice

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice.

2. Fine strain into a chilled high ball, whiskey glass, or any other type of glass you prefer while pouring over a large ice cube (or a few small ice cubes)

3. Enjoy!

When finished, the Basic Bitch Fruity Ranch Water should have an orange hue from the passion fruit puree and orange liqueur.  We’re looking for the fruity flavors to come through while leaning on the acidic content to cut through the sweetness, making for a cocktail that keeps you going and coming back for more each time-refreshing and light without being too sweet.
