Pot of Gold Tue, Dec 13, 22 | recipes If drinking green beer isn’t your ideal way to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day, check out this gold cocktail that’s just as festive. This bubbly and Irish whiskey cocktail by Victoria McGinley is the perfect way to kick off your St. Patrick’s Day celebration! If you’re celebrating with friends, make the pear/whiskey mix ahead of time and guests can build their own cocktails. This recipe serves two. Bar supplies: Liquid measuring cup Stir spoon Champagne flutes Ingredient Amount Pear juice 2 tbsp Irish whiskey 2 tbsp Bubbly of your choice to top off Lemon twist for garnish (optional) Preparation: Mix the pear juice and the splash of Irish whiskey together in a liquid measuring cup or some other cup that has a spout, which will make it easier to pour. Divide the mixture equally between two champagne flutes. Slowly top with bubbly (we chose Lunetta Prosecco because of its crisp fruit flavors and clean finish). Garnish with a lemon twist. Enjoy!
