Sweet Peach Tea Boozicle Mon, Dec 12, 22 | recipes Sweet Tea is a great summer drink in the afternoon – think of sitting on your porch, glass in one hand, a fan in the other, sipping and fanning to keep yourself cool. Now think of chillin on the porch, in the backyard, in the park enjoying a Sweet Tea Boozicle, with a peach twist. This peach popsicle recipe is the epitome summer living! Bar Supplies Paring knife Cutting board Blender Mixing bowl Pitcher Popsicle trays Popsicle sticks Ingredient Amount Peaches 2, pitted and sliced Peach Schnapps 1/4 cup Granulated sugar 1/4 cup to 1/3 cup (depending on your sweetness desire) Water 2 1/2 cups Tea 3 tea bags Preparation Microwave water in a bowl until very hot then add the tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes. Let the tea cool to room temperature by leaving it out for awhile or putting it in the fridge for 10 minutes or so. While the tea is cooling, blend the sliced and pitted peaches and the granulated sugar in a blender (where else) until the mixture is smooth. Add the peach schnapps and the cooled tea with peach-sugar mix and blend on low until thoroughly mixed. Pour mixture into popsicle trays, stick the popsicle sticks in and freeze overnight. Tips Schnapps is a sweet liqueur so be careful how much sugar you add. To know the right amount you want, at first add less sugar while blending the peach-sugar mix then, if necessary, add more to taste. Also, play with the spirit you use to make these iced tea popsicles– from flavored vodka and rum to a different liquor.
