Walker Blood Sangria Tue, Dec 13, 22 | recipes I go all out when my favorite shows come back from break, so you know I’ll be sipping on Kim Beaulieu’s Walker Blood Sangria when season 7 of The Walking Dead airs this Sunday! Not a fan of the show? Switch “Walker” with any ghoulish character, and you have yourself a Halloween cocktail! This Halloween sangria recipe serves 8 to 12. Bar supplies: Pitcher Ingredient Amount Wine (we used Merlot) 750ml (1 bottle) Pomegranate Juice 2 cups Orange Liqueur 1/4 cup Sparkling Water 2 cups Ice 2 cups Preparation: Pour the Merlot in a pitcher, add the pomegranate juice and orange liqueur, stir well. Put the mixture in the fridge for at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight. Remove the mixture from the fridge and add the sparkling water. Stir well. Add ice if desired. If serving for a holiday that isn’t Halloween or Walking Dead related I would add some pomegranate arils and sliced oranges for garnish. Remember to allow your Halloween sangria to rest for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, before serving!
