Like Santa Claus himself, we’re making a list, but we’re checking it more than twice because this is some important holiday content. Plus, who only checks a list twice? If you haven’t already guessed from the title, we’re pairing classic holiday characters with adult beverages. What a time to be alive!
Christmas movies are one of the merriest parts of the season, so why not pour a festive beverage and get into holiday spirits?
The Grinch - Sour Beer
Before attempting to ruin Christmas in Whoville, it’s likely that the Grinch was sipping on something sour! We’re guessing it was a sour beer like Lemon Bomb Tart ‘n Juicy Sour from Epic Brewing since the can’s color is too fitting.
This classic Dr. Seuss character might seem a mean one, but we assure you that a good heart and great craft beer taste lies in every grinch!
Rudolph - Red Wine
In these trying times, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer feels like the underdog story we all need. Once this adorable holiday character is all grown up, he’ll be sipping on a wine as red and bright as his nose.
Santa Claus - Peppermint Vodka
After a long night of climbing down chimneys and delivering presents, Santa probably heads home to the North Pole to pour himself a glass of his favorite festive drink. If we had to guess, peppermint vodka definitely seems on-brand for Old Saint Nick.
Perhaps some Peppermint Smirnoff to spike his hot cocoa? It tastes just like a candy cane and pairs perfectly with milk and cookies!
Snow Miser - Vodka
Buddy the Elf - Rum
Don’t be a cotton-headed ninny muggins and let the holiday season go by without enjoying this classic Will Ferrell movie! Since Buddy loves to chug a full liter of Coke, we’re guessing his beverage of choice would probably be rum to make for a complimentary cocktail duo.
White Christmas Rum & Brandy would be the perfect product since it is named after his favorite holiday!
Frosty the Snowman - Spiked Seltzer
Ah, we love a match that just makes sense! Frosty’s jolly happy soul would likely sip on Snowmelt Spiked Seltzers. Considering the ending of the classic holiday tale, it definitely seems very fitting for Frosty.
Plus, if he needs some extra hydration from all the laughing and playing, they also make a version with electrolytes!
And that’s a wrap on the holiday character picks! Now onto wrapping the gifts under the tree…
