Do you like Piña Coladas? Of course you do! Getting caught in the rain? Not so much. With travel restrictions lifted, it’s clear that people are eager to plan their summer getaways. Nothing tastes more like paradise than a sweet, frothy Piña Colada.

If a Caribbean vacation isn’t in the cards this year, National Piña Colada Day falls on July 10, so you still have a reason to relax and unplug with this recipe. It’s simple, refreshing and pairs nicely with a tropical getaway or poolside stay-cation!


  • 2 ounces rum
  • 1 ounce pineapple juice
  • 1 ounce ​​cream of coconut
  • 1/4 ounce freshly squeezed ​​lime juice
  • 1 1/2 cups ice
  • Pineapple wedge (Optional, for garnish)
  • Maraschino cherry (Optional, for garnish)
  • Mini Umbrella (Optional, for garnish)


  1. Gather all of the ingredients.
  2. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into chilled glass.
  4. Garnish with a maraschino cherry, pineapple wedge and mini umbrella.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
