The Story

The road to New Image started way back in the day – when owners Brandon Capps and Sean Fisher met during middle school in Georgia. After interning with Anheuser-Busch during college, Brandon found his passion was in craft beer.

Brandon originally joined a brewery in Pittsburgh, but he made the decision to move after falling in love with Colorado while visiting Arvada for a wedding. Eventually, both Brandon and Sean made their way out to Denver, paving the road for them open New Image Brewing in Olde Town Arvada in 2014.

The Atmosphere

One of the main goals of of New Image Brewing is to create a community-focused atmosphere that breeds social connections. The Brewery is free of flashy screens and overt technology. Instead, there are large 8-foot picnic tables to encourage conversations between patrons (obviously when social distancing isn’t a thing).

The owners believe that craft beer can be a catalyst for people to talk and open up about things beyond beer. We love this sentiment!

Product Recommendation

New Image East Coast Transplant

Style: Imperial IPA

Taste: This beer is styled after some of the famous DIPAs of the Northeast. It’s absurdly hoppy, hazy as hell and incredibly smooth to drink. Complex and pungent notes of peach dominate the nose, while juicy tropical fruit, full-bodied mouthfeel and subtle sweetness round out the flavor.

Pairings: Grilled meats, fresh vegetables with herbs and buttery roasted potatoes. Vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Molly's Staff Quote: Ben's Pick

“Just like New Image Brewing, I also abide by the saying “I’m not a native, but I got here as fast as I could.” This beer is as amazing as the great state of Colorado! New Image is also right down the road from Molly’s Lakeside, which is just another reason I love supporting them.”
